Rescheduling of the Autumn Fair

The Autumn Fair, previously scheduled for 27 May – 4 June 2021, has been rescheduled to take place from 13–21 December 2021 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

We believe that this decision, which has not been taken lightly, is in the best interests of the show and all those who support it. Our first priority is, as always, the health and safety of our exhibitors and visitors.

In addition, we believe that by moving the Autumn Fair to December 2021, we will be able to offer superior value to our exhibitors and a better experience for our visitors.

The new December dates coincide with a two-day national holiday in Bahrain and end of year festivities. Coupled with positive studies from the World Health Organization (WHO) of a COVID-19 vaccination and clinical trials being conducted globally, we are hopeful that the Autumn Fair will see a strong return to business in addition to reducing risk for all participants.

In collaboration with our partners and suppliers, our team is also developing a series of new and exciting initiatives designed to improve the exhibitor and visitor experience and to further enhance the event. We are excited to share these developments with you soon.

Following an extensive review of our 2021 events and feedback received from our exhibitors along with consultation from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Informa Markets has reached a decision to reschedule the Autumn Fair 2021 to 13–21 December 2021. We believe that the new dates will offer a superior return on investment to exhibitors whilst reducing risk for all participants. The December 2021 dates coincide with a two day National holiday in Bahrain and end of year festivities. Coupled with positive news of a COVID-19 vaccine, we are hopeful of a strong return to business.

Rescheduled dates are confirmed by venue and Bahrain authorities and therefore to be considered final.

We want to reassure you that we are, and will, continue to closely monitor developments of COVID-19. Your health, safety and wellbeing at our event is our utmost priority. We are therefore following all safety advice and precautions as recommended by the local departments of health, as well as the World Health Organization (WHO).

We are actively working with the venue and our official suppliers to ensure precautionary measures are in place during the build-up, show open and break-down phases, including the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed with any developments.

As the exhibition has been rescheduled, all paid money will be carried forward to the new show from 13-21 December 2021.

Expenses are not refundable. We kindly ask you to seek compensation through your own travel insurance.

The payment plan will change in line with the new exhibition dates. Therefore, the deadline for the second payment will be extended to 30 June 2021. Our finance department will be sending you an updated payment schedule.

You are all set. All money paid in connection with the event will be transferred and your booked location remains reserved for your team.
